Cookies and storage

1. What we use

ftyapps.com does not use cookies. It stores two items in your browser’s local storage (localStorage), and only those. This page explains what they are, what they are for and how you can change your choice at any time.

2. What we store on your device

Only this:

• site_analytics_consent: remembers whether you accepted (“accepted”) or rejected (“rejected”) audience measurement. It is stored when you choose in the notice and stays until you withdraw your choice or clear the site’s data in your browser.
• site_analytics_visitor_id: a random identifier generated by your own browser. It is only created if you accept and it is deleted as soon as you reject. It lets us recognise repeat visits without knowing who you are. It is not derived from anything about you: not your IP address and not your browser’s characteristics.

3. What we do not use

We do not use cookies of any kind: no technical cookies, no advertising, no cross-site tracking and no third-party cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google to display them.

4. Audience measurement (only if you accept)

If you accept, we record which page you visit, the domain of the site you came from (for example, google.com), if you come from another site, your random visit identifier and, when you click the main buttons of the site (for example, the one leading to the evaluation form), which button it is. It helps us understand what works and improve the site. If you reject, nothing is recorded.

We do not store your IP address or the type of browser you use, and we do not build a fingerprint of your device. Your IP is only used for a moment to limit abusive requests and that data expires after one hour. Measurement data is deleted automatically after 7 days.

We do not use this data for advertising and we do not share it with third parties.

5. How to change or withdraw your choice

You can open “Privacy preferences” in the footer at any time and choose again: rejecting deletes your visit identifier. You can also clear the site’s data from your browser settings: the notice will appear again the next time you visit.
